Valldaura Labs is a living lab and centre for research on self-sufficient habitats.

Built around a XIX s. traditional Catalan Masia, its infrastructure aims to become a prototypical place for architecture and ecology in the post-carbon era. It aims to produce food, energy, and things. This lab provides living space for 25 students and it’s home to the immersive IAAC’s Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings (MAEB).

The MAEB is a 12-month immersive academic programme focused on training professionals in the field of advanced design and construction of ecological, sustainable and self-sufficient buildings. The master’s course takes place at the Valldaura Labs, the IAAC campus in the Collserola Natural Park, in the natural heart of Barcelona. Learn more about the Master.
